MetroTas Hydrogen Refuelling Station HAZOP & SiD
pitt&sherry facilitated both the HAZOP study and the Safety in Design workshops relating to the Hydrogen Refuelling Station facility to enable refuelling of hydrogen buses as part of Metro Tasmania’s Zero Emissions Bus Trial project.
Project aim
The facility required a HAZOP and a SiD to be performed to identify potential safety hazards and to ensure a safe design.
What we did
The project was designed by Metro Tasmania with mechanical and electrical support from pitt&sherry. H2H Energy Pty Ltd were the designers of the HRS equipment and the integration of the equipment on site. As part of the design stage, pitt&sherry were engaged by H2H to facilitate a HAZOP and SiD workshop and provide a safety report in accordance with the WHS regulations.
Outcomes
